Rapid Detection of Concealed Persons

The Heartbeat Detector® uses multiple highly sensitive seismic sensors placed externally on the inspected vehicle. During a short measurement period, advanced algorithms analyse vibration patterns and distinguish human heartbeat signatures from environmental noise.

Within seconds, operators receive a simple inspection result indicating whether further investigation is recommended.

How the system works

Step 1 – Vehicle Preparation

The vehicle is brought to a complete stop and the engine is switched off to eliminate engine-induced vibrations.

Step 2 – Sensor Placement

Four seismic sensors are temporarily attached to strategic positions on the vehicle exterior.

Step 3 – Measurement

The system records extremely small structural vibrations for approximately ten seconds.

Step 4 – Signal Processing

Proprietary software filters environmental noise and analyses the recorded vibration spectrum.

Step 5 – Inspection Result

The operator receives a clear recommendation indicating whether concealed human presence has been detected.
