The W5 Solutions Light Infantry Target (LIT) is a lightweight, battery-powered pop-up target with programmable scenarios. It is radio-controlled and intended for individual and unit infantry training.
O sistema W5 Solutions Light Infantry Target é um mecanismo de alvo pop-up portátil, alimentado por bateria, concebido para aplicações de treino de infantaria. How the LIT works:
The LIT raises and lowers a target on command. It runs on batteries and is controlled by radio, so no cabling to a control point is needed. Scenarios can be programmed in advance, which lets the instructor decide when and how often a target appears during an exercise. W5 Solutions describes the LIT as a stationary infantry target: it pops up in place and does not travel across the range.

W5 Solutions offers the LIT within its Infantry Tactical Training solution. Other components in the same system are the Battle Effect Simulator (BES) for smoke, flash and airburst effects, controlled by tablet or control unit; LOMAH (Location of Miss and Hit), an acoustic system that calculates where hits and misses land; and Target Enhanced Overlays (TEO), fabric overlays that are also available with a thermal signature.
