Construction and protection:

PGD states that the DELTA panel uses the same ballistic construction as its PGD DELTA bulletproof vest. It is tested to NIJ 0101.04 Level IIIA against .44 Magnum SJHP at 436 ± 9 m/s and 9 mm FMJ at 439 ± 9 m/s, and reaches a V50 of 592 ± 9 m/s against a 17 gr fragment under STANAG 2920. The ballistic package has an areal density of 5.6 kg/m², PGD rates its flexibility at 10/10, and the panel is unisex, suiting both male and female body shapes.

Sizes and cuts:

The panel is cut in eleven formats. ESAPI cuts: Small 227 x 303 mm (8.75 x 11.75 in), Medium 246 x 323 mm (9.5 x 12.5 in), Large 265 x 342 mm (10.25 x 13.75 in) and X-Large 285 x 361 mm (11 x 14 in). SAPI cut: Standard 250 x 300 mm (10 x 12 in). Square cuts: 150 x 150 mm, 150 x 228 mm, 127 x 355 mm, 127 x 279 mm, 127 x 228 mm and 127 x 178 mm. This lets the panel back a hard plate or replace the soft insert in an existing carrier.

What is included:

You receive the soft armour panel in the size you choose, sealed in a 100% water- and sweat-resistant TPU cover with ultrasonically welded seams. No carrier is included: PGD states the panel fits most third-party carriers and sells the PGD ALPHA carrier for DELTA and ULTRA panels and a carry bag as separate items.
