Construction:

The strike face is a single piece of monolithic silicon carbide ceramic supplied by Saint-Gobain, backed by aramid. The plate is 26 mm thick, ESAPI-cut and multi-curved to follow the chest and abdomen, and it is sealed in a Cordura cover.

PGD offers five plate sizes: Small 227 x 303 mm (8.75 x 11.75 in), Medium 246 x 323 mm (9.5 x 12.5 in), Large 265 x 342 mm (10.25 x 13.5 in), X-Large 285 x 361 mm (11 x 14 in) and Standard 250 x 300 mm (10 x 12 in). Optional single-curved side plates come in 150 x 150 mm and 200 x 150 mm.
