Sometimes the right answer to a customer's requirement is not in the catalogue. The product doesn't exist as we sell it. The capability needs to be built from components of multiple manufacturers. The specification is so specific that it has to be prototyped with the end-user before it can be procured. Or the customer trusts us to deliver something we don't normally sell. Special Projects is what we call this work.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

WHAT IT IS, AND WHAT IT ISN'T.<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>

Special Projects is not a separate service line. It is the same specialists, the same standards, and the same discipline as the curated portfolio - applied to requirements that fall outside it. The bar is the same: it has to fit a real operational requirement, and we have to be able to deliver it well. We do not take on Special Projects to grow revenue. We take them on because the customer has a problem worth solving and we are positioned to solve it.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Customers occasionally need equipment that falls outside our five focus domains. When the trust is there and the requirement is concrete, we source it. A recent example: twenty 4\u00d74 vehicles for an Asian Ministry of Interior - not equipment we normally sell, but the customer trusted us to deliver, and we did.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

A capability often requires combining components from multiple manufacturers into one working system - sensors, communications, platforms, control modules. We bring those components together and ensure they function as a single capability, with the integration tested before delivery rather than discovered in the field.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

For requirements that don't yet have an off-the-shelf solution, we run concept development, feasibility studies, and prototype iterations. The work is done with end-users in the loop - operators evaluating prototypes in conditions close to their real use case, before any procurement decision is made.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
