The RECONDOR is a cloak of 2.16 m x 1.26 m with a hood, covering an area of 3.6 sqm including the hood. It has 130 anchor points for 3D camouflage elements and is double sided with a reversible pattern. ProApto offers several variations, including a waterproof version.

    Camouflage and fabric:

ProApto describes the RECONDOR as an anti-drone, counter-thermal cloak that is breathable and not insulating. The fabric is 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm thick, silent, washable and suitable for amphibious operations, and ProApto states that it releases no toxic nanoparticles or chemicals. It can be produced in any pattern, including ProApto's 18 2D designs and 12 3D patterns, and has no expiry date.

ProApto is a brand established in 2015 with its management in Dublin, Ireland, and it states that its products are entirely made in Italy. MSS Defence is a Dutch supplier that provides ProApto camouflage on quotation, with one point of contact from enquiry to delivery.

    Intended use:

ProApto designed the RECONDOR to be worn over a soldier's gear, as a counter-thermal cloak against detection from drones, and for amphibious operations. Connected units can conceal observation posts or small vehicles. MSS Defence supplies the RECONDOR to military and police end users.
